Happy Friday, everybody. Finally, I’m uploading an actual page of the comic. A lot of things took up my time since I posted a page on May 10th. The illustration of the 1965 Corvette was very time-consuming and I also created the artwork used on the award plaques for the Kunkel Cruise-In.
After that, my wife and I took a much-deserved vacation trip to Decorah, Iowa. It’s a beautiful town steeped in Norwegian culture and heritage. It isn’t your typical tourist town, but we enjoyed our stay. One of the main reasons we went was to see the Bald Eagles that nest near the Decorah Fish Hatchery. Bald Eagles are making a comeback here in Indiana, so Kathy and I have become interested in our national bird.
No sooner than we returned home, my wife’s brother and sister-in-law arrived from Anchorage, Alaska for a five-week stay. A lot of time was spent with her family as visits are not all that frequent when so many miles separate us.
Now, I can get back to Danielle Dark. The poor woman has been standing in her parlor for months, waiting for me to let her continue the story. I’ve kept you waiting, too. Thanks for your patience and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
Now this is an interesting turn! Danielle is in this other mental state/other place/ other time/? and another individual conscientiously interacts with her. I’m really looking forward to knowing more.
Curtis: Thanks! Things are definitely interesting in the next few pages.
