Happy Friday, everybody. Thanksgiving was yesterday, and my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful turkey dinner at my sister’s house. Kathy and I feel like we have a lot to be thankful for. Late last year, Kathy was diagnosed with breast cancer. The surgery was successful and was followed with twenty-two radiation treatments. Kathy will be on hormone blocking medication for the next ten years to help ward off any recurring tumors.
In May, Kathy had a colonoscopy. We were happy that no abnormalities were found. This was scary for me because Kathy’s mom died of cancer that started in her colon. We both heaved a sigh of relief when the report came back negative.
Two weeks ago, Kathy had the first of a special stereoscopic mammogram. Once again, the news was all good. These mammograms will be done every year and there will also be periodic examinations to make sure Kathy remains cancer-free. She is doing well and is in great spirits. We couldn’t be happier.
Now, on to Danielle. Danielle is still in her vampire state. Talia has taken Danielle to a forest about one hundred miles north and east of Indianapolis to visit a mystical place. It is supposed to be a journey of self discovery. It remains to be seen how well things will turn out.
Have a great weekend and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
Congratulations on all that good news. And thanks for the new page. I was not really expecting you to post as Most of us have our lives out of sorts with a holiday.
