Happy Friday, everybody! It’s great to be able to post an new page. Well, a new filler, anyway.  Danielle was quite the fashion plate in the early 1950s when she lived in New York City. I think it would be fun to do more fillers with Danielle dressed in period clothing. What do you think?

I am happy to say that my wife is doing very well. Today she had her eighteenth radiation treatment. Kathy has three more scheduled treatments. After that, she will have periodic examinations to determine if the treatments have done their job. All indications at this time is for a successful outcome.

The treatments started to have a tiring effect on Kathy after the second week of radiation. I’m sure the daily trips to and from the hospital contributed to the fatigue. Kathy has been such a trooper though this whole event. Her positive attitude and strong will has been inspiring. She is quite a lady, and to be married to her makes me the luckiest guy in the world.

Many of you have expressed your concern for Kathy, and she and I want to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts.

Very good to hear the progress. Only 3 left. I’m sure that is a lift to the spirits. And yes I was interested to hear news about her progress. Oh, and yes very nice picture.

Great news! So glad the treatments are done soon! She’ll bounce back full of energy, and loving every minute of it! Just you watch!

Curtis and ExpectNoMercy- Kathy had her last treatment on Wednesday. Apart from being fatigued, she is doing very well. There is a some definite redness where the radiation was projected, but no roughness or blistering, which we were told was a possibility. The doctor says the redness will be gone in a couple weeks, but it may be two or three months before Kathy gets over the fatigue. I read all the comments to her and Kathy wants everyone to know how much she appreciates them. I do, too. Many thanks!
