Happy Friday, everybody.  Mushroom season is in full swing here in Indiana. My wife and I had some morel mushrooms with dinner tonight, and they were wonderful. If you haven’t tried morel mushrooms, you are missing a treat. They grow in wooded areas in the midwest, but I’m not sure if they are common in other parts of the country. I’ll have to look that up.

Danielle has finally decided to confide in Uncle Turk and Aunt Maude. She is finding out that Uncle Turk tends to cut to the heart of the matter.

Have a great weekend, and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.

    She probably hasn’t

  2. rws says:

Has she ever had someone truly competent in enchanted objects examine it? Even though it’s active magic has been exhausted or terminated, it might be possible that it retains an affinity for similar spells. Or it might even be possible to reactivate the old spell.

@rws – You are close to the truth. Danielle has had a very old and powerful witch examine the knife, and proclaim it inert. However, therein the very real chance that could change.

@man in black She may have at one point just after Evan admitted he was in witness protection but completely forgot about it with everything else that’s been going on.

Time for a round of realization :-)
