Happy Friday, everybody! What a week it has been. Things have been busy where I work, but the pace is not quite so hectic.  I am happy to say the last four trade shows that require my attention are finally off my desk. Everything has shipped and have safely arrived at their destinations.

On the home front, my wife is recuperating from gall bladder surgery. The operation was at our local hospital, and was an out-patient procedure. Kathy is home and doing just fine, if a little sore around the middle.

Danielle, on the other hand, is in the midst of a gun battle. Her would-be abductor got off a shot, and Detective Grinstead was on the receiving end of it. Detective Nichols is returning fire. Let’s hope he is a good shot.
