Happy Friday, everybody.
Danielle has effortlessly dispatched one demon, who has dissolved into a steaming pile of dust and clothing. She seems pleased with herself, but perhaps Danielle is a bit too confident. Her attempt to attract the attention of the occupants of the approaching car has also alarmed Amy and Lizzy.
Have a great weekend, and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
The demon had. now Danielle has.
Martin: A gun isn’t Danielle’s weapon of choice, but she knows how to use one.
“Not weapon of choice” – Yes!
However, she is in hunting mode, which is close in.
It shows well in panel 4. Like a lioness she has put her charges
in as safe a position as possible and is ready to go jaw to neck
against the danger. Having taken care of her charges

on them. This is such an effective strategy it has become instinct
in the wild.
P.S. Correction: Panel 3

jayb:
Unintended consequences are always a problem.
My thought is the frightened expression on Lizzie’s face isn’t concern for Danielle’s safety as much as concern for her mothers fears. She has shown to be very astute or even clairvoyant so far.
gamachinist: You are correct. Lizzy is gifted in that regard, although some might say cursed.
