Danielle has rematerialized from the shadows. Just how fast is Danielle when she attacks? She just broke this guy’s wrist and plunged her knife through his heart. All this before the man’s gun hit the floor. That’s pretty fast, but I’m sure she could be faster if needed.

I love the layout of these panels! The blood spatter background and the tilted overlaid panels remind me of crime scene photos from a true crime documentary.
Also, Do vampires continue to grow stronger as they age, or are they pretty much ‘Grown’ when they’re turned?

Danielle has had more than 150 years for her vampire strength and abilities to mature. She also has inherited the power of thirteen vampires before her as part of the curse associated with her knife. Danielle is still learning what those abilities are.
I assume she’ll grab a snake before this guy is completely dead.

Danielle probably won’t because she’s expecting more intruders. She would probably agree that blood from the living would be preferable to that from the dead.
