| Evan Shaw is a mortal who encounters Danielle a few weeks after her arrival in town. He finds himself attracted to the beautiful vampire, but is unaware of her true nature. Events unfold that reveals the truth to Evan, and he reacts like any mature, 28 year-old man would in the circumstance. He is scared out of his wits. As much as he tries to avoid her, Evan often finds himself in the presence of Danielle. She tries to befriend him, but Evan is afraid of the vampire. Still, he is entranced by her beauty and eventually makes timid attempts to engage Danielle in conversation. Evan is going to find himself drawn deeper and deeper into a world he never knew existed. |
