Carol Tasking is the senior IT engineer at Hamilton Hydraulics, the company where Danielle lands a job as web designer. Carol is an extremely intelligent, energetic person with an out-going personality and great sense of humor. Carol knows her job well and is highly regarded by her fellow employees. Carol is a hard-working individual who also likes to play hard. On warm weather weekends, she is usually tooling around on her Harley. Every evening after work, Carol hits the gym to unwind from the stresses of her job. It is one of the few ways she has to cope with certain management types at Hamilton Hydraulics. When Danielle is hired, Carol fights a losing battle to have her work in the IT department. Management, however, feels the web designer's position belongs in the Advertising department. Despite working in different parts of the building, Carol and Danielle strike up a friendship. Carol, however, is not aware of Danielle's true nature.
