I love the last panel, the background really emphasizes Danielle’s barely controlled rage!
At first I was thinking that this would be an example of mugging the monster, but he may already know she’s a vampire due to his information on the knife. This is still a bad move for him, as he is confronting someone who can bench press a truck.
Agreed, that saying about dragons works well here…
