I’ve had a lot of people ask me how I draw Danielle Dark.  While all the final art is produced using Adobe Illustrator, along with some effects achieved with Photoshop, everything starts with sketches on paper.  For me, nothing beats good old pencil and paper for character studies and layouts.  Here is a sketch of Danielle in a somewhat unpleasant mood.  I don’t know if this will actually appear in the comic, but it definitely sets a tone.
