Happy Friday, everyone.
Summer is always a busy time for me. A lot of my time is spent doing chores around the house that can’t be done in colder seasons. As a result, I wasn’t able to complete the next page in time to post. Rather than rush it, I decided to rework an existing drawing. This dates back to 2010, and was used in an ad for Danielle Dark in a Villain Next Door comic book by Roy Duncan.
I was very happy with how the art came out, and I think I like the slight reworking even better. Danielle looks particularly menacing, and it suits the mood of the current story line.
I want to finish the latest page, and post it next Friday. Until then, have a great weekend, and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
I bet you could sell great big cardboard cutouts of that to comic shops.
Or for passive home defense ( but it might scare the grand kids!)
gamachinist: That would look pretty cool. I wish I had the know-how and a 3D printer. This would be a great figurine.
The Halloween version of ” The Elf on the Shelf”.
Maybe the Vampire on the Mantle, or the Demon on the Desk?
gamachinist: Those are great ideas! I need to start doing some drawings.
Oh no! I hope I haven’t caused the cartoonist to be distracted!
